Ahhh, okay. After re-reading Chapter 161 again I realized that they showed the title of “Scream” pretty clearly.
Maybe the author got Scream and Diary of a Madman mixed up, or maybe it was intentional.
For anyone curious about what happened in Chapter 160:
After entering the home, Barker (the Country of Death guy) comes across a jail door with a mysterious man inside.
The mysterious man is talking about how dangerous it is to go outside right then as he knows that the rooster and dog are...
So, he’s trapped inside some sort of purgatory where he is forced to face himself and his deepest fears, like how weak he was before.
And when he attacks that shade, it was really himself that he shot. Then the shades of the people he had eaten swarmed around him and ate him.
I don’t know if it’s really THAT big of a leap of logic for him to say that after “temporarily” breaking through to the 7 Star realm that he is as strong as someone in the 9 Star realm.
Earlier he learned that his own body/soul is unique in that it has a similar state to what the bodies/souls...
Well, the background worldbuilding stuff we’ve been given so far is that there are a variety of different magic systems.
-Primordial magic that was used in the far past before largely disappearing, although the Shaman character has been shown using it.
-Alchemy is an artificial recreation of...
I actually think there’s a bit of confusion on either the author’s part or the translation’s part, because the use of “dowry” in this chapter doesn’t really make sense.
With that said, there’s a lot of confusion between what is considered a dowry, dower, or bride price because while those are...
I think there are a couple of other details that work in his favor.
The biggest is the fact that he sets up the move by first slashing at his opponent’s leg to cause them to get off-balance. Beryl even notes that by doing that it makes it difficult for the opponent to be able to counter-attack...
His eyes definitely look the same as Eldora’s, which leads me to believe he was possessed by a dragon. Dion gets the same kind of eyes as well when he does the “Dragon Boost” ability.
I think the guy and the mage girl are screwed regardless of whether Dion forgives them.
I’m pretty sure that the taller girl with the ponytail who was in their party is actually an undercover agent from the guild.
When they show up at the Guild to ask about the location of that guy’s friend...
It’s really interesting that, unlike the other people we’ve seen from the Dome Church so far, the Father’s use of divine power on Vincent hasn’t backfired and caused him to get burned.
Even the Pope was burned as his own divine power was nearly ignited when coming into contact with just a trace...
Considering that the maids were trying to poison her through the make-up, it’s very possible that there was some other kind of medication that the King was using to insure she couldn’t conceive.
It did seem like a really odd hole in the King’s plan to try to control the Duke’s family by having...
