True enough, it's nice to see one keep going for a good while. It has been successful sales-wise too, that author has obviously been able to crack the code, whatever that is.
It feels like it's been years since we've had an actual moment out of the Liebe setting between Hime and Yano :oops: Since quite a few volumes at least, so in reality, it probably HAS been a couple years.
Incidentally, I've been reading Samuel Pepys' diary, so I know all about Lord Sandwich and boy, the man sure did love his mistresses :haa: Pepys himself was a giant sex pest, so that was the mood of the era I guess....
Highschool based mangas do tend to close with the 3rd year graduation stuff. Plus, all of the romantic plots are already pretty much resolved. It's certainly possible.
FWIW and without spoiling too much, it's very much implied in the later novels that their relationship involves regular physical intimacy. Which doesn't mean that Shimamura wouldn't still identify as aro or ace, obviously. The author is the only one who would really know ultimately.
It was pretty big of the son to take the first step towards finally breaking the cycle his dad started, IRL there are a ton of people who are incapable of that level of introspection. He still pisses me off, mind you, but I can see now he's not a bad person at heart ; he's just insecure and he...
