I legit despise this author. He knows how to write compelling stories, and I always find myself reading his work. But every single manga he's written he just progressively makes the protagonist's life hell before killing him off. Every single time. I sincerely hope this one is different Edit...

I genuinely dislike the author. All their series are like this. They set up an interesting premise, make likeable characters, and then at the very end they make it nonsense. Usually killing off the protagonist, and leaving a mess for a quick ending as if they became upset or bored.
