I shotgunned this in a day and it's outstanding. There's a great push and pull making Shinju so horrifying and sympathetic from moment to moment. Cute and ugly. Arata trusts her completely and doesn't believe a word she says.

As the author explains in the notes the title is because these kind of characters would get ntred for sure in a doujin, these days.
The joke is that in the manga they absolutely won't. They set up scenarios that make you think it might happen, and then it doesn't.
