I'll be honest, this series just keeps getting worse. I could probably write a whole essay at this point. I'm gonna keep at it to end of the current chapters, but this arc really has been the final straw.
@bruh-san Couldn't agree more, I feel like it's simplicity is really the source of it's greatness. There's no school schenanigans, or tournaments, or character relationships. It focuses solely on that drive and ego only an elite sportstar has. And boy does it pull it off well
@arimareiji "and I'm mocking you for it, so that means I'm the one who's "stupidly enraged"" Well... yes, you are? I'm quite baffled by how you intentionally go and warp what I say to fit some fantasy you have of what I'm disscussing here. I never once said I liked this manga, nor did I say...
@arimareiji @Tessou I just really wanna point out the pure irony of your comments. For starters, I'd just loove to know where in my comment did I say criticism, or anything "unrelated to the chapter" should be "dissallowed per [my] logic". I think if you, arimareiji, took a step back and...
@linoasterix That's literally the one thing I just despise about some of the people on this site. If I don't like how a manga is going, I drop it. Simple as. The comments section is about discussing the chapter, not about whining how it doesn't suit your taste? Grow up or gtfo y'know.
I'm not entirely sure how to digest the end of this arc. The biggest thing for me is that it isn't a fantasy world, but an alternate earth. Falconia is Rome, we can see the edge of Europe in the globe shot a few chapters back, and Skelling is presumable the Isle of Skellig Michael in Ireland...
