Cubari is basically just a reader. It can be configured to use various image hosts to actually display the chapters. Essentially allows us to make a link via cubari we can share with people and then even if the image host changes, the link does not. :)

We use another site because of perceived risk to our group in continuing to upload here. It was not a decision we made lightly, or one we wish we had to make. Personally, I would rather keep using MD. But not at the expense of the scanlators, and not at the risk of our hard work being nuked...
