These constraints are what make these kinds of manga interesting for me. Makes you think how the author would go around into overcoming it. There are actual stakes after all. Who would be bold enough to go after their boss as their subordinate and not to mention the daughter of your former boss...
The last time we had a story about the dark side of the entertainment world it didn't go as well as I hoped for. Surely this one goes well! (and by well, I mean the story doesn't go on its own suicide)
I'd say it really depends on the environment. In my case where I was a bullying victim long ago, all the teachers were highly supportive. You could say I was lucky that I was with good people.
I have a feeling this might be time-travel related but so far, every fact mentioned the manga checks out to be correct. Seems like the author knows his stuff. The sci-fi tag alone makes me interested but the topic at hand makes me even more so since its not touched on yet.
This is one of the case where the status quo shouldn't be changed. Instead, we get treated to a rather significant dcharacter evelopment with Waku wherein he realizes how important he is to Oura-san. He doesn't even get mad for her lying or question the fact why she hid the truth from him.
Casually announcing a deadline is really an axe if anything. Heck they even introduced so much other Karins out of nowhere to boot without even getting to meet them individually. It's sad they all have these great designs but we're reduced to side characters.
Its definitely a writing strategy so authors are able to bail out when they get axed out of nowhere. At least this way, they're able to end the story neatly or transition nicely to another arc.
It's akin to 100GF's Hahari and Hakari arc.
