The way this fight develops reminds me of Ippo vs Hayami, especially the last uppercut-to-hook exchange. So I guess Aoba's plan is to tank damage coz he has more HP (protagonist power lol), whereas Kureishi will likely lose most of his stats after a couple more exchanges.

Why does Aoba not have hair on page 8? Did we miss the buzzcut arc?

Undefeatable with Cynthia Rothrock is pretty much a martial arts slasher movie. But because it had very low-budget sometimes some moments are kind of funny, especially the final fight scene.

Amachi gives life-saving instructions and validates his status as the best coach in the manga IMHO. Aoba's opponents do not receive the same quality advice from their corner most of the time.
