I think the one weakness of the time skip is that it's just a tad harder to believe that he still wants to fight Kenshin. Maybe that did change and we don't know it yet, but I would assume it hasn't for now.

Character development groundwork was laid down pretty well imo. Time skip was a surprise for sure, but not unwarranted.

Now that I think about it, Kenshin kinda reminds me of Sage. All he has to do now is animorph into a golden retriever and the expy will be perfect.

This feels like the setup for a solid resolution. I like where this is going so far, especially since it's near the end.

I'm really enjoying the non-horror Junji Ito artwork. And political intrigue based on real events is great fun.
