I don't even think Remu was smiling back at Niji on page 17, the wavy panel lines used were the same as the ones on page 14 where she was imagining Remu in her made-up scenarios... She might be so delulu she's looking straight at Remu and imagines her smiling back when she's actually just asleep

Really love the setting and progression of the story
