19 is technically also a "teen" but old enough to run shady businesses. Not that shady businesses would care much for legality in the first place, being shady businesses and all...
This was a bit stupid at times but throwing away your humanoid form to become some sort of guardian god to you husbands nation, that's a story I'd read. So many interesting options how that could play out.
I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he meant a 'familiar' teacup but when told he should have magic he starts flailing his arms around and claims 'no good' because nothing happens. His head is EMPTY. So might as well be thinking exactly that.
When designing a unit for a game you design it once and then copy+paste it however many times you need said unit in the game whereas in manga you need to draw every new appearance, every new pose, every movement etc.
If you're trying to earn your daily money through manga you don't have endless...
That's pretty much the same reasoning I had.
At this point the little girl still thinks of the dark elf as an evil being so she's looking for some safety for her friends like "even if I lose, I want my friends to be safe and free."

On page 8, bottom panel the bubble
Maybe I'm misunderstanding something but given the context wouldn't "Please spare everyone but me!" make more sense?
As in she's offering herself as wager so everyone else can walk away freely?
Anyways, thanks for the TL. Keep up the good work!
Rather than contemplating whether cosmetic surgery exists or not I'm more curious about how it'd affect (or be affected by) healing magic.
What if she gets an implant, goes back into a dungeon and gets hurt and the healing magic removes the implant as a foreign object?
A showdown?
Between a dragon lady and a demon killer
vs.
two unremarkable idiots?
What kinda showdown are we supposed to expect?
Realistically I'd give 'em 3 panels...now watch this get dragged out for 4 chapters instead.
If I remember correctly there was some sort of cursed sake involved.
The question now is: Is Petla this way as an effect of said cursed sake or has she always been like that? And if it's the latter, was Lucoa kicked from her Goddess position because it was public and not because it happened?
So far clown guy has only shown to be more skillful (not more powerful) in recognition disruption (pg14 bottom panel, middle bubble). And the miasma only boosted MC's power, not his wisdom.
So it could be that clown guy is simply more cunning than MC and more skillful in one particular skill...
They don't really need to be related. Since they're already sharing a universe it could simply be that Shuri and Take go to the same school so the two casts meet up by coincidence at the candy shop or something like that.
Personally I'd feel that's much more realistic/fitting than some relative...
