The writing in this series is very solid. I love this direction. Having events constantly question Sanghyun's sense of self and having him deal with that mentally is very entertaining, and is exactly what I signed up for when I saw this was a transformation series. Nothing against other gender...
So-ae backstory!
While not directly addressing them thus far, I'm glad that Geukjang keeps bringing up things like how little idols eat (given how physically intensive their work is) and how young some idols are (which can be really bad for them).
I wonder what direction Geukjang will take So-ae, because she and Hyojeong kinda occupy the "pure angel" character archetype, just have different story significance.
I wonder what direction Geukjang (author) will take the toxic diet culture from the idol industry shown here. He could simply present it as a matter of fact thing, or maybe show it in a more negative light. The Dabi thing felt so real, when I was into K-pop I remember so many idols being...
Translations are just late; Konturu has health issues as far as I'm aware. There are some translations in other languages already available on other sites.
Comparing the art from the first chapters to now, it's like night and day. It's always awesome to see the artist improve over time during serialization.
I doubt Sanghyun will even entertain the idea of dating Gongwon. They are both idols, and Sanghyun hates his guts (+ Gongwon immediately dismissed pursuing Yoil this chapter after he learned the truth).
Gongwon is a real one for not telling anyone.
I love chapters where Sanghyun/HanYoil has to do some introspection. I’m open to any ending (full masc, full fem, both sides are a part of you) as long as it's properly explored in the narrative.
It‘s never been more over team Iruha.
This chapter got review bombed to hell on Naver, and I don’t get why. Koreans are mad at Gongwon finding out and the author being late. I hope this doesn’t discourage author from his vision of the story.
I’m afraid the end of the chapter might start allegations of Yoil being a bully.
