I just read it recently here on mangadex, it has like 30 chapters so far. Somehow I cant even find it in my mangadex reading history tho. And again, it's a manga.
The story is set in the modern day but a certain sci-fi element: A company built a system that allows you to enter a "game world"...
My guess is that the artist couldnt keep up with the schedule so he had to use a lot of real life images. And because of that, his artsyle also had to be changed to fit. Probably also wanted the dark creepy vibe
