I've read the end of the WN, and I am really disappointed and confused as to why the author chose to make the final arc as convoluted as it is. For most of the story, it is a rom-com story with a single instance of regression, and it should've stayed as such. Instead, it decided to (poorly)...
The first chapter was promising, but it seems this manga quickly devolved into a cliche-fest. Any LN readers willing to give me spoilers on whether this gets any better or not? I'm losing my will to continue at this rate.
The English name of the manga is "Asami Kuroki is on a(nother) bender!". It's about an alcoholic and workaholic FMC nearing 30 and a fresh college student MC who's basically paid (through discounted rent) to be her caretaker. The story tries to present itself as wholesome or cute, but the moment...
You know, I just came back from another manga with a similar premise (a romcom about a guy and a girlfailure), and the main difference between this manga and that one is that that one has your typical spineless cowardly romcom mc. It really makes me appreciate our Chad MC, Rihito, here. Rihito...

The part that aggravated me the most about MC is where the FMC genuinely attempts to...
That... doesn't really counter my point, though. Speedrunning friendship events means that speedrunning romance events for Noa would hardly be a stretch. The only reason she hasn't made any overt advances toward the MC is because she fears it will ruin their current relationship.
I think it's safe to assume that Noa has already fallen in love with the MC (and has been since the 2nd chapter), and here are my two most prominent reasons for why I believe so:
Her unstable mindset and willingness to jump from one thing to another very quickly.
The fact that we haven't heard...
He's great at establishing them. He's not great at enforcing them. Though, I have a feeling that if he was, then he wouldn't have bothered being friends with Noa.
FMC mental breakdown counter: 18 (+0.5 overthinking that MMC doesn't wanna drink with her and wants to go home, +1 overthinking that MMC enjoys his other friends over her)
Average number of breakdowns per chapter over the last 10 chapters: 0.6
Average number of breakdowns per chapter over the...
