This is a great chapter for a romance plot, as it shows well written loser hero/ines that can one feels bad for and see that in another life, they could have gotten their happy ending.
However let's be honest, the same die for our ship, why haven't male lead and female lead hook up already...
First of all, thanks, I do remember that Telne actually said she was the second strongest dragon of the harmony faction in the same chapter Oli first appeared. That said, when she met Kobayashi, she specifically said she's not part of any faction, not even the expectator faction like Lucoa.
Yeah, I kept reading just to see where things will lead even if I wasn't liking it at all but I think I just hit that point where it's just better not to continue reading anymore. Fuck this series.
Again, we know that she's not part of some underground trafficking ring or something like that, plus he's only a student from a middle clad family. I said that MC is more understandable in dropping his guard when it's someone he knows.

People saying he should had kept his eye on his drink and what not. Putting aside the victim blaming for a second, if you're a guy think of yourself in that situation and you'll see the issue... how did she carried a passed out man out of a public restaurant, dragged him all the way to a love...
Not every short story is axed. Sometimes author know the story they wanna tell and don't need or feel like dragging it out. Given the sheer amount of Karins at the end, it was never going to go through them all at length.
