I've always complained about this. The author keeps telling us this and that should be odd or out of place but it just seems like normal behavior. It's like they're paranoid and think nice, good, cheery and maybe popular people are all just conniving, sinister people under a mask.

I think that's the point. The sister is mad that knowing that she's gay, she still dated and eventually hurt the guy. She used him and in the end didn't seem to care how much he hurt him. It was a bitch move.

Hence "direct" appearance. No background stuff. We've known she's the founder of the company for ages. This is her directly interacting with a main character ("the" main character) in a major and meaningful way.
I think that she either is a virgin but such an easy target that the guys want to pressure her into sex or that she wanted pressured into drinking then taken advantage of while passed out drunk.
Either of which is better than the dumb alternative almost all these promiscuous girl stories go for.
This is the only series I basically hate watched. The premise was interesting, at least back then before I figured it was just following the trend created by Beaststars' Haru. But I just couldn't deal with the inconsistent characters, situations and bs that didn't make sense if you stopped to...
