Obvious it got cancelled and they wrapped it up, they went nowhere with the evil ball girl plot line. Could have at least mentioned that Eliza and the MC where aware of one another, I think the writer was trying to portray a hopeful ending but it was a bit bleak on that end.

For a romance manga to work it helps if you don't actively dislike the male lead.

You're right its not a nice fetish but whatever you want to call it, unless the author was intentionally baiting, that incident so early in the series was really dumb idea and the justification for it makes no sense. Ogami will be all shy one chapter at getting close and the next she is fine...

Disagree to this idea, when things end then the future is left up to so many possibilities, if the continuation is great, also good, but if the continuation is bad or stupid, then it can taint what you previously enjoyed. Like all those reboots that make the heroes later life miserable.
