It really feels like Okayado had no idea how to explain this arc, and just made it up as he went. It's just dragging on and on and on, and we've barely seen the main cast for two goddamn years.

I'm glad we're getting back to the main cast, at least. The whole arc would have been A LOT more bearable if they were more involved.

Much as I love learning about other extraspecies, I do miss the early chapters when it was more slice-of-life with a focus on the main girls.

I agree that it sounds more like an outsider's look at her as a person, showing how much she's completely changed for the better to the point there's not a hint of sadness or pain on her.
