This chapter has hit me so hard for some reason. The recognition of the act they're both putting on, and her realization that she could easily die if he wanted it to happen. Her "puppy" isn't a puppy.
They're both striving to live. That's what it comes down to.
There is a bubble that I feel...
I'm so worried about his relationship with her, though! He can't be okay after everything he experienced...I just don't want this to turn into something unhealthy. He should be 100% happy and free.
