It's honestly kinda funny how much of a bum Jerid is here compared to actual Jerid. The real Jerid would have ran down that train and forced the doors open while his legs were broken.
See, this was part of my problem. She's been pretty much one note up until the recent chapters all focusing on her, and her gimmick did get kinda tiring to me at some point, so I stopped caring about her. If the mangaka gave her at least a little bit more to bite into before it got to this...
I dropped it after reading a chapter or two of the "what if" thing, can someone tell me what the hell even happened? I remember being surprised about it continuing despite "finishing," but I also was not about to subject myself to this story even with the eye candy.
I was wondering why I was feeling a bit of deja vu reading this, then I remembered that this was one of the ones that got purged.
Thanks for reminding me about this one.
I think that, even after all this, I still probably would have preferred Chita to be the protagonist of a side story rather than lumping her antics with Tokio in with the other two couples. Again, somewhat akin to what Shinigeki no Eroko is to Henjo. It's not like the mangaka hasn't already done...
I finally took it upon myself to binge out the rest of the volumes I had been putting off since the gap between chapters was bridged. I almost wish I put it off for longer; I need more, and I hope this gets an anime adaptation eventually. Preferably after it eventually ends.
I'll dignify this with one last response because I feel like you either didn't get it or you're being disingenuous:

It was just to exemplify my point of "calling people things that don't apply to them is bad, don't do that."
I'll...
There's a part of me that almost wants to engage with that meaningfully, but I'll admit, I don't care enough when the whole catalyst for this comment was talking about a girl in a manga that people don't like. It's a bit silly, don't you think?
Speaking of silly:
I'm glad you decided to ignore everything else I said to pick at the thing I threw in at the end because I got baited into picking at it.
Let me put it this way, then: I don't think that watering down words like "incel" does anyone any good. Remember, not everyone you dislike is Hitler, people.
Since everyone is throwing in opinions, here are mine:
I recall Chita not being as bad or annoying earlier on, and felt much better as a character when she wasn't the focus. I think it just took way too long for it to get there given that she was part of what ended up becoming the tertiary...
