@riftsalad well, they do resemble the abyss feeders with their partial transformation and we were told that claymore's were made using the flesh of "dragonkin" perhaps this is where the Rato (they had a couple of people that resembled the Black Suits) begin their experiment.

I am glad that they understand what blue magic does to the mind of one wielding it. It makes this mook blue mage so much more relatable

Personally, I love the overly British translation. Most pron is kind of boring to read, but all the puns and political metaphors they’ve been making here make this one of my favorite h-lite manga. And while it does take a moment to process some of the references, that slows down my reading...
