i feel like everything Ayame said was trying to gauge Ema’s reaction or try to bait her into acting. Previous chapters show she might have just started considering Ema as an option but doesnt know if the feeling is mutual.

I really don't see what shes done that a normal middle / highschooler wouldn't have. On top of that looking at anyone's thought process in every day life would make them look like an asshole. You need genuine introspection if you believe these arent normal human thoughts.

I got no clue why this comment section has such a huge hate boner for this girl. she pulled one practical joke that every middle schooler has done before its not that deep.
