    well it can't bring up stats from nothing, it require the user to actually have the will power and motivation to became powerful too. Just like the lady want the strength to proved to her father but Cry has none of that so the mask just gave up.

    right.. he is the only one can level up in the world and she just happen to have a skill to tell him how much exp he need to level up... it is not uncommon to downgrade everyone else to make the MC special in those power fantasy's type but this is something else.
