Just seems like they drop a chapter whenever the author/illustrator get around to it. First few chapters were weekly then became monthly and after a 4 month break, the last couple chapters were 2 months gaps. Definitely the author and/or illustrator, not the translator.

Been a while since I read this through. But iirc, she did try to keep the relationship going. He pretty much turned her down. He clearly has some big problems in the way of him being able to be in a healthy relationship and doesn't want to see that she likes him. Like she pretty much did...
