Wasn't a hiatus fyi. The series was in a competition where authors could release 5 chapters and the best of the bunch would get a full serialization. This was the winner of said competition, so it's continuing. If it had lost it would have ended with chapter 5.

I really don't get why so many characters pad their chest, especially when the pads are this big. It never ends well.

Yup, the biggest issue with this rewrite is not that it's wrong for them to just be horney monkeys. The problem is that we spent 30 something chapters establishing a specific narrative regarding all these characters, one that deals with insecurities and trauma, and now it feels like that's all...

They aren't bonus chapters, they're literally replacing the old chapters. These are coming out in the magazine like normal. The author even apologized to all the readers who purchased the last 5 issues because he's going to rewrite the chapters.
