In Japan, picking O Sagat will annoy a lot of people but he is tournament legal. Same goes for Claw. People will talk shit or view it as a crutch. Nobody will really care about Dictator or Boxer, and new Sagat is not "soft banned." well getting tick looped by boxer can be pretty demoralizing but...
The site will be purged sooner or later voluntarily. NamiComi isn't going to kill themselves by ignoring DMCAs and they own very, very little rights with regards to what has been uploaded on this website. Furthermore they are in the business so you can bet your ass they are going to be proactive...
Wild.
MangaDex. These people are running an illegal operation at the end of the day regardless of how anyone feels about it. Of course they should respect the DMCA. That is how you stay out of the crosshairs.
But making uploaders tick a checkbox that says "I have permission from the copyright...
An antagonist built around rape, going around raping characters wasn't present for the first 100 chapters. There was more or less a 'villain of the week'; now we're at rapist of the week. Most people can probably live with "what-if" scenarios, random drawings, or even close calls; not so much...
I feel like this isn't the manga I started reading on JManga. I don't even care that the plot has been dragging on. It bothers me how a good chunk of the cast I liked has been sidelined for an extremely long time, just so the author can draw other characters I like getting manhandled by old...
The official translation is in extremely poor resolution (despite being designed for mobile...) and is visually censored by an inconsistent AI algorithm for the Apple store.
And it gets split up in parts so you spend more keys.
I'm not so sure about their release schedule either.
I welcome a...
The chapter is fine, the translation is extremely suspect, and the so called readers aren't doing much reading considering they don't question "Japanese is hard, please help me Google" mid-chapter.
It is likely they ended the adaption where they did because it worked as an ending point; the light novel has been stalled with only one volume being released after 2020.
It sucks but we are at the mercy of Akatsuki. At least Kiasa will probably find something else to do.
Not entirely sure why the series has "Adaption" as the format, it started as and is an ongoing manga...unless MD considers that "Adapted to Anime" which is an odd way to go about it.
It isn't though. Actual translators will skip MTL chapters when they shouldn't. In worse scenarios, groups won't pick up titles because they see someone else doing it. Then you misrepresent the plot to the readers as shown with the greek gods example. Nevermind that the MTL 'provider' couldn't...
It shouldn't matter how many days, weeks, months, or years it has been since a proper translator has worked on a title. MTLs should not be posted as scanlated chapters. They are (still) not accurate enough. Share this shit on reddit or something.
I'm shocked these 'releases' aren't purged from MD.
