Goa definitely sounds more like a name than Gore. In English, gore is a noun with a grisly and violent connotation, not fitting for a person's given name, and especially not a woman's name in my opinion. I will concede that Gore is a not terribly uncommon surname, but I believe it's her given...

Get a weird vibe from this manga, the subject matter feels like it's trying to stay fairly serious but the characters don't feel like real people, it's a bad mix.
