I know authors must stay humble in notes but this really felt like they were apologizing like they just released the worst thing ever ... I really liked the story! The ending came quick but I think it would have dragged else so good on them for knowing when to end it.

You actually minded it so much that you felt the need to write how little you "mind" it! How about you just leave and not hate on certain genres out of principle? Just keep your hate to yourself next time!

with so many unsatisfying endings recently, this is nice. A good satisfying ending, nothing crazy, just nice.

This feels a lot like its Mahoutsukai no Yome 2.0, at least the premise
