Nice chapter... but when do we get to see something horrible happen to Jashin-Chan? It just isn't the same when she isn't trying to do horrible things and then getting instant karma.
I like how the real meat of the chapter is neither some furfag stuff nor an all out destructive brawl, but a rational discussion on the implications of demons and magic for humans, and why maintaining the status quo is better for all sides than all out victory.
Plot oversights, scmhlot oversights. My only regret is that I didn't get to see the villain grovel even more. I love over-analyzing certain things, but when someone is a complete shit, I can let a few overlooked aspects slide... Hell, I'd laugh at a side story about the poor peasant whose hut...
Let me get this straight.
The empire is currently facing a situation akin to the decentralization of the HRE, and some dude in a restaurant unwittingly headed off a path that could lead to civil war?
Sounds in line for this Manhwa.
Why does the crownprince care if his plan was exposed? This is an autocracy. Unless MC rallies military resistance, he does whatever the F*** he wants.
Edit: Wait, nevermmind. This is one of those empires.
Just the right blend of historical context and artistic liberty. Not sure I like the whole child rape thing (We get it, he's the villain!), but I certainly can appreciate a dash of darkness where it fits.
Pretty disappointed that the series was so light on the overarching history of the war. Instead, it is all so vaguely dealt with. We don't even see the occupation!
I guess this really IS just a romance. >_>
I don't entirely understand the personal dynamics, but I like historic-like politics (monarchical less so, but better than nothing) and I like gag Isekai. I approve.
Okay great. Now I'm going forever confuse Miltein and Ell, because they both have brown hair and similar facial structures...
In all seriousness though, they should've hired the guy with 30 years of meadow management experience, after seeing Miltein's performance. Same end result, a lot easier...
