if I woke up in an unfamiliar place and needed to eat a delicious meal, I'd probably go to a restaurant as opposed to trying the cooking (that I might not even get to choose) of someone I didn't know.
It was stated that his ability more than doubled the XP, shouldn't that mean that when he took it all back they shouldn't get this weak? If beginner level magic was the outcome when a former top level mage attempted to use magic, I would love to see this XP curve.
