I absolutely love Satoko’s character and her spunk. Finally, not another female doormat character. Even though Shinpei is crackhead levels of unhinged, these two work so well together.

Yeah, this one ends as you would expect, but kudos to the story acknowledging it's not so easy to get over feelings that you have for someone. A bunch of shoujo has the 2nd lead get rejected and move on like it's nothing. At least, here you can tell the guy is hurt.
