Welcome to the club! I've dropped plenty of manga and manhwa over 100 chapters in. Mostly due to ridiculously slow progress between characters, far too much miscommunication, etc. It's rare to find a story, romance or not, that doesn't frustrate me a great deal.

Arakure Ojousama wa Monmon Shiteiru is another romance manga that continues after the confession. It's my favorite manga by far, and the character development is so interesting. BTW, it is on the ecchi side.
