Just a guess but it probably didn't perform well enough. Released July 25 2019 and by December 26 2019 it was already done. (If the dates on comic-walkerjp are accurate) Personally I liked this series, only other choice is the novel I suppose.

I feel like several of the character designs and tropes are copied heavily inspired from somewhere else. It's also pretty short imo. Ends on chapter 15, the only reason I haven't finished is because Rithar Scans is paywalling the last 2 chapters. (14 and 15)

Isn't there a similar manga with darker tones where the FMC is trying to prevent the MC from dying? I guess this is somewhat similar to that, I would assume Ice Queen is a regressor as well as is just hiding her cards.
