I wonder if Yoki being able to tell the boy was Kikuri is related to her being resistant to some of the fringe science stuff. Like the shimenawa cordon (ch 13 pg 11) and liar liar (ch 26 pg 11). Raimon says those are both fringe sciences that work on the mind, but maybe Yoki has some 6th sense...

It's the boy who wished to be a girl (and bullied/liked the chess kid) and their friend (boyfriend?) from chapter 10.
