the last bubble is meant to be in the male character's perspective, it's more clear in japanese.

The translation muddies the waters a little bit but checking the raws makes it more clear that yes, that last thought bubble is the main guy saying it to himself, not the girl saying she is male, it's not BL yall can relax.
