I did go through all the chapters, I was kinda hoping we’d get a sudden twist to be fair xD like the one in the rental girlfriend, Mai telling Kuroki she only sees him as a friend while finding someone more… fit for her, sadly I was delulu. Also, that’s the problem isnt it? All generic romcoms...

How am I jealous? If anything I think people being so upset over me asking a better looking dude as mc is because they can relate to Kuroki and can feel like they can self insert into the story if the character is mid, if we’re hurling insults, I’ll start doing it too.

I’m not complaining about Mai being beautiful, I’m complaining about Kuroki being so plain and lame, we get plenty of that already, most manga/anime of this genre always have lame/plain/boring/ugly male MCs somehow getting the beautiful girls, it’s lame as hell. Give her someone who matches her...
