My problem is less about the trope and more about how long it can be dragged on. Sono Bisque Doll is an example of overusing the "drama that could have ended way sooner if the characters talked instead of saying nothing and avoiding each other" trope

Bullies getting away woth bullying, it sucks, it's frustrating but that's how it goes most of the time, some of my school bullies got away scot free. In the end the only thing the victim can do is move on with their life and live with the scars, in some cases the psychological wounds never heal...

As someone who was bullied in every school I was in, it truly makes a difference when there's someone who is there for you.
