@DeprivedOtaku Because this arc goes on for 2 more volumes is why people hate it so much. It lasts longer than people would like. And not many like this MC. But the cameos make up for it. To show how some of them are doing.

Well with this arc coming to end...Boy the next arc is a pain to get though.

@Darudius Yes. She already loves him. But Yamato wouldn't be happy with that if he isn't the fastest guy around he would feel like he isn't worthy of her. The both of them have a inferior complex problem. She got a idol job because he broke records and got famous and she couldn't measure up to him.

@Darudius More to do with pride. Of course Ouka would accept his love for her but she knew that he wouldn't be happy with that answer. He wants to be the number one guy in her heart.

I find funny on how Izumi mistake getting together as a couple with "get together" with their bodies.
