It's always funny when they bring up that he's still "deciding" on whether he wants to marry her.
That ship sailed long ago. I really really hope they don't try and introduce some silly drama when we hit the deadline.
But, this series has been good about that so far.
"Your family... Your brother... They might end up hating you!"
"Nah, it's cool he's dead and it's my fault"
As much as I like this series, I'm hoping this somehow relates to the situation at hand, cause
"it's okay to be gay as long as the rest of your family is already dead"
is not really...
Damn, this hits way too close to home.
I get it.
Can't even dislike the guy, I'm living that life right now. It's hard to do the right thing for an aging parent, and often there isn't a clear cut right thing.
It's a very Mushishi style ending.
The story isn't really over and the characters are going to keep doing what they do, teach even has a whole new group of students, but our time observing it is over.
It definitely felt a little unfinished, but, kinda feels like that's what they were going for...
So, the girl visiting the hospital in the first few pages, she was in chapter 43 also, we thinking she might be the girl from chapter 1?
I honestly can't remember if the glimpses we keep getting go back further than chapter 43.
Her eyes are drawn very similar, but it might just be the style.
The body proportions were always a little weird, but this chapter seems really bad.
Story wise, I can kinda relate to the main dude in this one. When I was his age I definitely would have considered dropping out of school to chase a girl around. High schoolers are crazy dumb.
