He's not worried because he's scared the soldiers may recognise him. It's a metter of honor. He IS the Hero, he's supposed to protect humans. One thing is saving your enemy's daughter in an act of pity, another one is to kill humans to help the demons, who are still your enemies.

I honestly don't know why everyone is making a fuss about the kiss, there wasn't anything romantic in that scene. Harumi clearly hit Matsuri with her words and the younger one tried to play one of her usual tricks to put on a brave face and make it seems nothing can faze her. Harumi didn't react...

So, next chapter is going to be the last? Cause I don't see a plausible way for him to escape from this situation XD

I enjoy revenge stories, they're cathartic, but i kinda hope this one would go a little diffrently. I hope MC will be able to change her relationship with her family and to see those two redheads as a little more complex characters rather than the usual "Cinderella's evil stepmom and stepsis" trope.

Ok, gotta be honest here, i really hate when an author pulls that "At that time, I didn't know things were going to be even worse" shit. It's a bit overused, especially in this genre. I prefere the "show don't tell" approach.

I've seen this same trope hundreds of times, everything is going smoothly for the couple, then one of them says something badly worded, the other one, instead of asking for explanations, goes on and gets all bitter and resentful and we're forced to read dozen of useless chapters on a ridiculous...
