Welp, this sure takes a nose dive on an ocean of cliches and "power of friendship/love" after the first chapters. It leans heavily on romance shoujo fare and there is A LOT of asspulls. It gets pretty clear that the writer just wanted to extend the story after the "big bad" is no longer a...

Just to add. On this whole "known areas of the world" and "inaccessible areas of the world", another famous example is Hunter X Hunter. But it has been years since the voyage to the "outer world" started, though... IF we ever get there, with Togashi's chronic back problems. :aquadrink:

Yeah, writing isn't this mangaka's strongest point. At this point I am still reading just because I want to see how the author explains it. If he doesn't or if it's not satisfactory I'll just drop out. Badly written miscommunication romance manga are a dime a dozen.

Nah, the artist just has some mild case of sameface-itis. It's noticeable even from the first chapter. Perhaps he/she/them is/are trying to change it a bit.
