It would be a better story if Yuu were to go public denouncing her deadbeat mother who hasn't shown her face for close to a decade resulting in a public backlash against the mother. But I guess this works as well.
I guess that's the thing with yuri manga. There are so few of them that made it past, say, 10 chapters because they don't get afforded the leeway like other genres to build up a good story. You either either go high pace in the beginning or you get the axe.

I don't know. The more I think about it the less I like the direction this manga took. It was way too tame considering the first couple chapters in which Lily is shown getting all busy. Then you have them in a relationship and all they seemingly do is talk about parfaits with Mai being prude too...
Yea, that was really short sighted of her. She knows her method is unnatural so why would she go and tell the whole world if she could just tell them her parents went away for some time and then maybe move to another city.
