If the manga was following the human side, when we reached this part of the story we would recognize the baby vampire Kumoko rescued as being the lady who helped Hugo take his revenge. It would be a sudden moment...

@Halfen It's not the minority. Everyone at both discord and reddit agree that skipping the human parts was a terrible choice and that the manga only works as a supplementary material. The start is slow, yes, but it does get both important and better. Remember the baby reincarnation Kumoko saved...

@syndare Except for the demon lord council from ages ago. Why did the mangaka put that there if he wanted to make things chronological?

@noobtube2 Don't read the wiki. It will spoil all the good reveals. Well, the manga has already ruined most of them, but still.

The problem with the manga isn't even leaving stuff out, it's how the stuff that was cut removes some of the enjoyment. Look at how anime onlies are theorizing about Kumoko becoming Ariel, or that Kumoko will kill Julius, and for sure they will be confused when it gets to the For manga onlies...

I really hope that the people who are saying the anime is bad are only saying that because of cut content, and not because of including content the manga cut

Oh... I really hoped we wouldn't see Jin Woo until that scene, but they still showed his spirit. I wanted it to not just be the Jin woo with the feeling of "since when", but the viewer as well. Would have been even better if it extended from when the Shadow Monarch showed up on the last chapter...

As a novel reader, there is only one thing I think should have been different: The chapter would remain mostly unchanged, but when looking back from the next one it would be a small but cool detail.
