I totally agree that it's bad for the mom to not let her have a normal social life. But I think it is at least valid for the mom to not want Amou to hang out with the guy main character. The guy is a huge bum and would be a bad influence on Amou- his entire life revolves around watching movies...

I like this chapter so much. There’s something oddly comforting about seeing a normal well-liked person feeling broken hearted and being vulnerable about it

Poor guy :/ this really makes me wonder- why does it feel so different to chat with a real human vs with an AI? Why do I bother writing messages here hoping a real person will see it, despite knowing that most likely no one’s going to respond, when I could just talk about my thoughts on this...

It’s because the author doesn’t know how to write natural and interesting dialogue. The entire manga is like this 💀
