Yeah, attempt to stall her by talking would probably be the wisest choice, unless she noticed their true intentions, got annoyed by it, and decided to kill them.
Yeah, at the time he wasn't even bond to any effect forcing him to obey either, it all just hanged on his desire to know more. He could've damn slaughtered the entire town whenever he wished, it's crazy.
That is true. Seems to happen quite often. I don't really mind, I reckon it's just something the author does to give a reason for them to go on quests and such and to 'nerf' them, but I've seen others mention this, too.
Well, they did spend a while in that town by the giant lake, and in that chapter we see them shopping and all... maybe they blew their money there somehow.
I thought she'd end up messing the poster, trying to add too much into it, but the end result was pretty good!

Yeah, I find the dynamic between Ruri and her mom pretty well written.
I just sort of feel bad for Ruri's dad though. I want to hear more of his side of things, and to see her get closer to him. I'm also curious as to why Ruri's parents broke up with each other on the first place.

Serie's criteria for passing seems to be bravery, audacity, talent, and ambition.
The ones that failed in the exam did not have enough of those in her eyes, including Frieren, whose ambitions were not the kind that Serie was looking for.
