The reason Evil Iruma is so cool is because of how rare it is and how every appearance is important (yes, even the idol one, it's the most important one, don't ask why).

It's not that it is inconsistent. It's the usual wrong assumption about Liam from others. The fact that he was talking about how nice it is about being a noble and that it allowed him to enter without any issues means "nobles can enter without any skills" in the eyes of the commoners.
