As clearly stated on page 4, this the second half of chapter 5. Well the "second half" is in Japanese and the literal translation is "last part", but the "Episode: 5" is in English.

I checked the raw and magician is spelt with the same mahou.

It's paywalled. Chapters always start paywalled, then they're a free for a time, then they are paywalled again. From my experience, ch 10 first-part (2) won't be free till ch 10 last-part (1) is released. So at minimum 2 months.

One of the comments was "But wait, can monster materials even be broken down?". Implying that monster materials don't normally rot, so just copying what he did what he did won't work. His microbes have probably been monsterized like everything else in his house.
