Mmm.... got to say this is the downside with repeat stories. its hard to really feel invested because you know its not going to matter until the last go.
yawn, all knowing shadowy cabal that somehow has all the power and all the stuff. but will somehow get beaten up in 2 chapters and escape away to try again in another 10 chapters.
