Since its heavily implied Fable and Rumour is owned by the boss guy, its probably another experiment he set up to see what happens when he pits the two together and whether they will break his rules.

The author realize he screwed up making her so hated and is now trying to do damage control and retcon her attempted murder and bullying as just one big misunderstanding.

This is just terrible writing if she becomes a love interest... They were scared he would survive and report them to the academy... If they only intended to beat him up, he would still be alive to report them to the academy and expel them. So the only logical conclusion is that they intended...

Lol this is such a mismatch of all fantasy tropes and multiple different technology levels that its hilarious. I wonder if this will get as popular as Gate JSDF or if the political imagery of Japanese military massacring pseudo Westerners too thick for it to be popular.
