I like this chapter and the few before it but man, I'm completely lost.
Going by the unavailable chapter list I was only able to read the first couple before the lot of them got yanked. Are they hosted anywhere else?
Well now that that part's been elaborated on...I think Rio and Itsuki are lowkey perfect for each other.
Mind games and psychological harm, the couple.
"hurr durr I'm a brokie pay for me"
"get me tickets"
"ugh chores???"
How tf did this pathetic bitchboi basically land 3/4 of the friendgroup? I need a spinoff of Itsuki torturing this man in a derelict warehouse.
Rei: I slept with your wife but actually she's a horrible person so uh...um...uh...we cool, bud?
Itsuki: (forcefully pulls the social kill switch)
:wooow:
A: Rio cheated out of malice and was found out.
B: Rio cheated but did it in a self-sacrificing way to get Mahoro out of a bad relationship.
C: Haruto went CIA mode, stole Rio's fingerprints and was the mastermind the entire time to steal Mahoro from Rei to accomplish his childhood dream...
God I hate it when interesting things get axed.
At the same time though...I feel like it still managed to end at a decent point. She doesn't 180 into a hyper confident extrovert but has improved and "pays it forward" as it were by helping someone she can relate to.
I really wanted to see how...
She has all three of them in the room and is about to directly accuse one of them starting off with "I thought we were friends".
But it cuts off at "I know it was you, ____"
But contextually it feels like she'd only consider 1/3 of them still a real friend at the current point in the story so...
Better counterargument: The arrow has to be proven that it was human made and in the case that it was, nothing is stopping any monsters or demis capable of wielding a bow from shooting one that they found or looted at a different monster intruding on their territory.
:wooow:
I'm curious what Rio's motive in all this is.
Because I think it'd be pretty boring for it to just be Kyouko all over again (maintaining image, don't like spouse, jealous) and some of these attacks feel way too personal for the generic thottery implied by her using an account to anonymously...
