Page 8 is incredibly vital lore and worldbuilding. Foreshadowing, too, I'd think. Just imagine getting the full body experience of death just by standing in the same room someone passes away in.

Having beat the game a good many moons ago, it's interesting to experience more of it in manga form. I think they've done quite well with the expressions and carrying the designs over.

IIRC the only thing was a flashback scene with Lilisa's mother looking sad while sitting at a low table with trash and empty bottles around the room, with current day Lilisa's narration mentioning that he abandoned them or something along those lines. They didn't get into any specifics until...
