    Another trivia game where you can try to follow along with (seemingly) knowledgeable players is Wits And Wagers.

    When I play Catan these days, I usually run in to groups that don't trade (unless it's overwhelmingly to their advantage). So it's not fun for me anymore - I like to do lots of trades where the other player may gain a bigger advantage than I do, but I "make up for it in volume."

    Geister is a neat little 15-30 minute game of tactics, strategy, and bluff. Simple rules, but it often comes down to finding the right answer to the question, "Is she bluffing?" If you like Cockroach Poker for 4-6 players, you will probably enjoy Geister when there's just 2 players.

    After School Dice Club - Vol. 1 Ch. 5

    Cockroach Poker is one of my favorite "deckbox" games, where you can fit the whole game in a deckbox or two, maybe a few markers if needed. IMO best with 5-6 players, four is the minimum I would play this game with. There are better games for 3 players.
